To be inaugurated by His Excellency General the Hon David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of Australia

Bravery Trek is a virtual fundraising event to help Australia’s veterans and their families. It kicks off at the start of Veterans’ Health Week, on 24 October and concludes 30 days later 23 November: participants will walk a “virtual Kokoda Trail” in their neighbourhoods, getting fit and raising funds for Bravery Trust.

Bravery Trust is a charity providing financial aid to veterans who have been impacted physically or mentally by their service and are in financial hardship.

Media are invited to the official launch of this inaugural event at the Australian War Memorial on Wednesday 28 October 2020 from 2pm – 3pm.
