If you’re a serving or ex-serving member of the ADF who’s been injured during service, or an immediate family member, Bravery Trust can provide urgent financial aid. We also have a Financial Counselling Service – free and independent – to help you sort out debt.

The following list of NSW grants may provide some financial relief. Be sure to check the eligibility criteria which may include:
- living in one of the recognised impacted areas
- qualifying under an income test
- or being the owner or mortgagee of the home.
NSW Grants
Disaster Recovery Payment NSW – Eligible adults ($1,000) and children ($400) seriously injured, missing a relative or if there has been major damage to your home. Claim this cash payment vis my.gov.au or call the information hotline on 1802266
Disaster Recovery Allowance NSW – A payment for up to 13 weeks if you have lost income due to the floods. Equivalent to the JobSeeker Payment or Youth Allowance, depending on your circumstances.
